After pressing the button on the remote to shut the X12 down, I get this message :
Warning !
Do you really want to shutdown the device ? There are currently 959 unconverted songs. The converting job will be stopped at shutdown.
Can someone explain this please.

I'm getting this too - it always says "there are 2 unconverted songs" on mine - very weird

I contacted those nice people at Sygnifi and was advised ;
This is nothing to worry about. The X12 rips all CDs to WAV initially and then converts them to the chosen format (FLAC/MP3/ALAC etc) in the background so that you are unaware of the process. The conversion takes 1.5 times the playing time of the CD roughly so just leave the X12 on for a while so it can chomp through it all!
I must admit being a bit wary but, after leaving it on for a while, the message did not appear again although it was there a long time.

I've been getting this since installing the latest firmware update on my X12. Always 2 tracks unconverted on shutdown, and I've left the unit on for 24 hours + to see if it clears and it doesn't. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Any thoughts? Thanks Mike
