I have set up the web server and can see my db from my PC but I am unable to control the db (can't even play music) from the PC. The X12 does have a strange IP address associated with it as it starts with 10.0 where I would have expected a 192.xxx . Any help greatly appreciated!

I get a 192.xxx IP, but cannot get access to the db from any browser or PC.
Much of the software seems to be work in progress

Hi Guys
Might be worth re-installing the web interface and then trying again. Which browsers (brand and version) are you using?
To do this just go SETUP->NETWORK SERVICES->RE-INSTALL (this is just underneath WEB SERVER in network services)
Let me know if you're still have issues after trying this. We are expecting a new version of the web interface at some point over the next few months.

I had a similar problem, but it was the IP address changing each time it was switched on. Easy solution check the IP address then change to Fixed IP address and put the IP address in you found earlier along with the other info required. Then each time you access from your PC you can use the same IP address. Works fine for me.

I also have the issue of the IP address for the XP changing when either the unit or my wifi router are switched off, how exactly do you change to a fixed IP address, is this done on the X12 or the PC? Interesting is that the Cocktail web interface and App do not work when the IP address changes but my Sonos system has no problem, even though it accesses the X12 through the PC?
