Hello for the past few days I have been unable to listen to any BBC radio stations via Airable. Others working fine, such as Scala, GHR, Talksport... Any suggestions as to how to fix this? I have tried contacting Airable but no response so far.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, no luck finding a solution so far. Good to know it isn't just me though.

I have tried contacting Airable but no response so far. It looks like it's a problem caused by the BBC, not Airable and doesnt just affect the X12.
Although it's dated 8 August 2019 I think it's possible that some older devices have only recently been affected by this and if you look at the latest comments you can see many other devices are affected.
BTW my X12 had been unplugged for some time and when powering up again my firmware had gone back to the original version meaning I still have access to Recive i-Radio. The same problem exists on there for BBC radio stations, a few seconds of audio then it cuts out.

Have same problem in last couple of weeks. Are Novatron looking for solution to this? BBC Radio is our default for music, sport, podcasts, news etc

I have been reliably informed by helpful friend at Novatron that a fix will be done for the X12 internet radio in June 21.

Thanks for sharing guys, I spent most of last night trying to find a solution, I reverted back to the version that still has Recive i-Radio and as said previously that doesnt work either. I dont understand how a fix can be put in place, its not just a HTTPS issue, its navigating around the BBC Sounds if you get there. Traveling in hope eh

From Novato FYI "Many thanks for using X12. BBC has changed their stations’ protocols with https for increase of security level, so that our old models like X12 cannot receive some of their stations now. We will also update the firmware of old models accordingly. We are planning to release the updated firmware at the end of June."
However if you have not updated your favourite stations the old link may stil work if you select the radio via the web GUI not Neo.
