I recently updated the firmware which did not go well. Managed to reinstall operating system with new firmware but I now discover that my CD tray will not eject. If I manually open the tray using the pin hole, the x12 does not recognise there is a disc there. Consequently I can no longer import CDs, the whole point of the purchase. Any help, anyone?
Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same problem, I can only eject the CD tray manually using the pin hole and when I load a CD the X12 does not recognize it?

Just manually downloaded R135 Firmware and now all is working correctly! This does pose a few questions for Novafidelity -
1) Why did they not publicise this fix more widely? 2) The CD player/eject did work with R133 Firware, then months later stopped? 3) My X12 said my Firmware was up to date, when I had R133 and R135 was available???

Did a factory reset and it solved the problem.
