Occasionally I find when ripping a cd to the x12 that the odd track fails to rip. I can usually insert the failed track into the album on the music db by ripping using my pc and transferring via a usb stick and the x12 browser. However, with the most recent failure to rip, the track I am trying to insert refuses to import. I get a message telling me the song already exists. I have tried changing the name to something distinctive via the pc to no avail. I check via the web interface and can see no sign of the song either in its original or changed name! Any advice welcome.

Hi Colin, I've had this problem once and after many attempts, including name changes I deleted the entire album and ripped it again with success. Whether this will work for you I'm not sure but might be worth a try.

I also have this problem, usually with downloads. I've tried renaming the files, and importing in ALAC or WAV rather than FLAC but this has not made any difference.

Hi there, I also updated to the new firmware on the X12 and the most annoying this is that you can't order it by Album name. For example when I sort it by Genre/Album, the order is by import date, and there isn't a alphabetical ordering option, or is it there? Thanks
