I have just purchased an X12, and I had a faulty unit that went back (failure on eject mechanism). I did note however on this unit (prior to being returned) a ticking noise when changing tracks. It happens now and then but frequently. [Does not happen on the same tracks or the same artists].
When I received my replacement, all is well but the same ticking noise exists. .
Do other users hear this? I have checked the power cables and used a different hard-rive, but they still exists!?
Can you kindly advise?
Thank you.

Same here! Just spent ages transferring all my mp3's to the X12 and was looking forward to a perfect playback but get ticks if I change tracks (as opposed to letting the player just advance on its own). Ripped some Co's directly to X12 and same happens.

Quite disappointing to see a 2 month old post going unanswered :-(

maddogmcq: Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to have been any official input on the forum for months. As you say, it's very disappointing. It *may* be worth contacting the official UK management company at Sygnifi: www.sygnifi.co.uk [Tel: 01732 765105] There is also an unofficial forum but, be warned, there is a distinct level of intolerance by some posters towards CA/NF users who those posters consider to be unworthy of owning a CA/NF product.... Good luck...

maddogmcq, I've been waiting since Oct 2015.....
I suggest that you unplug all connections and start again. I wish you all the best.
