Well, I've given the X12 a good test run over the weekend. Sound quality from the Mordaunt Short M10

Here's a question for you all. The UK High Court last week ruled that it's illegal again to rip CD's to a hard drive. Odd that I can't see any ruling on music downloaded from I-Tunes or other sources and then copied to your I-Pod or other devices like the X12. I would have thought they should all come under the same law. If I buy a CD then I think I have the right to make a back copy to my portable device.
I may be old school but I prefer to by the CD as my hard copy where ever possible rather than a digital download. So I will be breaking the law from now on if I buy a CD and rip it to my X12. What do others think?

Just seen newspaper articles. The whole regulations allowing it have been quashed. The music industry just isn't living in the real world.
Incidentally, I own copyrighted material and think those purporting to represent me are wrong.
