After switching off yesterday with no obvious issues, today my X12 will not power on. There is power reaching the ac/DC adapter which was supplied with the unit when I bought the unit 3 years ago. Today my X12 is not switching on. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice for me. I have never understood why there is a need for an AC/DC in line adapter anyway, no other Hifi seems to require. Again any thoughts?

You say there is power reaching the AC/DC adapter, but is there 24V DC coming out of the adapter? If not, then it looks like you will need another PSU.

I am however no wiser on how to resolve. Once again thanks for suggested solution.
